D.Sc. (Tech.) Imam Santoso, ST., M.Phil., is a distinguished lecturer in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He has made significant contributions to the field of metallurgical engineering, particularly in metallurgical thermodynamics and modeling, high-temperature material production, and extractive metallurgy . His academic journey includes a Doctorate from the School of Chemical Technology at Aalto University, Finland, and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Queensland, Australia. Imam has been recognized as a valedictorian graduate and has received prestigious scholarships such as the LPDP and Australian Awards.

Imam's research interests are multidisciplinary, focusing on sustainable utilization of by-products to improve added value and reduce carbon emissions in agro-industrial supply chain management. He is proficient in Python, R, and SQL, with expertise in statistical modeling and visualization, which he uses to transform complex data into actionable insights. His recent achievements include earning the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, enhancing his skills in data cleaning, analysis, and visualization.

In addition to his academic roles, Imam serves as the Head of the Solid Oxide Systems Laboratory and has been involved in various industrial projects, including the heat transfer simulation of electric furnace refractories and the ramping up of copper flash smelting technology. His work extends to providing technical consultancy and training in mass and heat balance in flash smelting and converting technology. Imam's contributions to both academia and industry make him a valuable asset to the Expert Board team, where his insights and expertise continue to drive innovation and excellence
